My pregnant wife has new food aversion which made planning date night interesting. Many of my slam dunk go-to dinner locations don't agree with her temporary palate so I thought good pizza would be perfect. When we walked in the front door there was a server (Brennen) standing by the podium with the hostess. We told them we would like the best server they have and he said that would be him. He was right, he ended up being a great server! Had an ice cold Coop F5 IPA and a barbecue pizza (with ranch of course) and it was a delicious meal.

After wandering through a depressive, empty downtown Oklahoma City, we were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant that was actually open. The service was very friendly, the menu diverse and the pizzas were great. Highly recommended

Not so good. I had never been to the Hideaway Pizza downtown. But I had been to some of the other ones. I was disappointed when this one was not as good as the one in Edmond and Stillwater. The salad and the pizza were not fresh. I like my pizzas fresh out of the oven and the pizza I had wasn't very hot. The Caesar salad wasn't cold and crisp like at the Edmond restaurant. The next time I want a Hideaway Pizza I'll just drive up to Edmond. Overall grade "C-". I don't think I'll be back to this one.

Delicious pizza! I am a pizza snob and very particular about my crust, their hand-tossed was doughy and delicious (also the option of thin crust). They have three different pizza sizes, small medium and large. The medium was just enough for two people. We got the margherita and it was delicious, there were plenty of options to choose from it was almost overwhelming. Prices were a little high (15$ for a medium pizza), but would definitely treat myself to it again.

On a busy Saturday night, we sat at the bar for quick service. The bartender Laura was super-sweet and we enjoyed our seats. I ordered the Pizza of the Gods, my personal fav. The wine selection was diverse and reasonably priced. Parking was easy. Will be back!

This place is a great place for lunch, dinner, or a fundraiser. We frequent this hide-a-way very often and I have yet to YELP about it. So they just revamped their menu and I know it sucks that they took off some amazing dishes but they also added new ones too. Also added several new beers as well. Today my husband and I went for a quick lunch and our waitress was Laura, she was super nice, fast, efficient and made sure we were completely taken care of. Every time I come here I like to sit in Laura's section. The paradise pasta was amazing and so was the new chicken parmigiana sandwich.
The Big Country pizza was awesome. Our waitress Bri was very nice and kept an eye on is. You have to try the fried mushrooms. They are awesome.

The only place open at 10:30 where you can get a beer. Delicious pizza, and Laura the bartender is delightful. They say they have the coldest beer in town, and I believe them. Definitely will be back if I find myself in OKC again.

I'm a huge fan of pizza. I often joke about how I have the appetite of a 5 year old because I could eat pizza, burgers, and mac and cheese forever! And I'm a huge fan of hideaway pizza. They have a really great crust, and a lot of great pizza options! I've gotten pizza from their downtown location multiple times for lunch, both dine in and carry out! They have a lunch special that is 6.99 for a small one topping. This is more than enough to fill me up! I'm usually full with one of two pieces left, but just can't stop so end up being a pig and eating the whole thing! It would be easy to split one of these with like a salad or something if you're not starving and want a light lunch! They have a great location, with additional parking across the street! They also have a few parking spaces south of the restaurant designated for picking up carry out orders! Great place and I definitely recommend it!

My favorite OKC pizza. Great staff always friendly and funny. They have a perfect location downtown. I have yet to have anything there I didn't like and I always order enough to have left overs. A great place for groups.
(5)
Misha Z.
Great location, friendly staff, good place for a group or just with your honey. The pizza just wasn't all that amazing. The crust was yummy but the toppings just left me a little unimpressed. We opted for the chicken pesto and the "olympian-" artichokes, olives, chicken etc. I would go back again, just not for a pizza craving, with a group to hang out for dinner and enjoy the open atmosphere at the restaurant.

Good food, bad service. Both times I've been here I've sat at the bar to avoid a wait. They're usually a bit behind on cleaning tables. Bar has been dirty both times; food crumbs, dishes, glasses, all just hanging out on the counter without a patron. The second time we went there the staff didn't even notice we were there for 15 minutes so we left. No one was working, just chatting away with each other. The place does not feel clean and there is no quick service.

This place is so much better than some of the newer, fancier pizza places I've tried. I have never been disappointed with Hideaway. The thin crust is always thin and crusty, unlike the soggy, undercooked mush of a crust I have received at some other places. I always get the Totally Truffled, and my husband loves the Sicilian. The fried mushrooms are pretty good, too, although the stuffed mushrooms are meh. However, I wouldn't waste valuable stomach space on the mushrooms when I could use it for another slice of pizza.
(4)
Ashlie C.
Hideaway is always consistent with their product whether I'm eating a catered lunch or going in the restaurant or getting it to go. I went for lunch with some co-workers, the service was great, the pizza was awesome, I was a little disappointed their lunch specials have gone up in price. One of my favorite things from hideaway is the fried mushrooms, they are totally worth the extra money to order! Also, from day 1 I have always liked the pig skin classic specialty pizza and they will still make it for me if I request it. Because hideaway is that awesome!

Hello Hideaway. How had I never known ye before?? This was some tasty tasty pizza. It was absolutely perfect after a boozy day in Stillwater. First we got the baked mushroom caps. I probably wouldn't have ordered this left to my own devices but I'm so glad we got them. Holy shit, hot mushroom-y cheesy perfection. Now, the pizza. *wiggle wiggle wiggle* We got a large 1/2 ATW and 1/2 Tulsa Hurricane. The Tulsa Hurricane has probably changed my outlook completely on this style of pizza. I have typically not been a fan of the ham/pineapple style, it just hasn't ever done it for me... well, folks, this pizza has convinced me otherwise. It's got mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, Canadian bacon, smoked bacon, diced green bell peppers, pineapple and jalapeños. Is it the bacon that makes it awesome? The two cheeses? The jalapeños that balance out the sweet with spicy?? I can't decide. But my poor ATW side looked pretty lonely because all I wanted was the Tulsa Hurricane after i started on it. Homina. Also, we got the hand tossed crust and it wasn't too thick at all... just a great crunchy bottom crust and the outside crust felt like perfect little breadsticks. The service was sweet and helpful, the crowd on an early sunday afternoon was a mix of church goers, families and hung over people (ahem). I left cured from the beer flu AND didn't feel all pizza gross at all. Now, when is hideaway coming to Dallas, huh?

On my new 'favorites' list, for sure. Not only is the pizza delicious and unique, but the service was outstanding. Otis was our server and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Our drinks never went empty and our empty dishes didn't stay on the table long. I highly recommend Otis! We had 2 appetizers and a medium pizza to split by 3 people. The size of the appetizers were perfect and the pizza was just right as well. There fried pickles were amazing and our Cimarron pizza is so delicious I don't even have words for it t! The restaurant was clean and comfortable and everyone seemed very friendly making for a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

Hideaway pizza is good, don't get me wrong, but there is better pizza in OKC. I have been here multiple times (my friends love the place) and have tried a variety of menu options. There are lots of toppings and playful options but the reason I can't give it more than 3 stars is the atmosphere of the restaurant. There are a few locations but they all have the feel of a major chain restaurant. I feel like I'm walking into an Applebee's or Chilies. If that's what you like then this won't bother you but if you want a cozier ambiance then other OKC pizza joints may be a better choice. Again, the pizza is good but if you are looking for a unique dining experience, look elsewhere.

Hideaway Pizza is amazing! The food is more than fantastic and I am always so pleased with the quality and taste. Everytime we go there we always get the stuffed mushrooms or fried mushrooms and both of the are just so amazing and delicious. The pizza is fantastic, although at time it seems to be just a little overpriced for the sizes you receive. Although, I've even had their gluten free pizza and it's not that bad! Can't tell the difference from their regular pizza, which is a plus for people who have to be on a gluten free diet. The staff is always super friendly, and the place is always super clean!

I can tell immediately how good a pizza place is when I walk in the door. The key is the oven. Take it from a native New Yorker. The staff here is SUPER friendly! The portions are nice and the food tastes pretty good. I don't think the pizza is great, but that's a personal preference. Pros: Friendly Staff. Great atmosphere. Great menu selections. Cons: They don't have the old school pizza ovens. Everything is on conveyor belts, that you find at the pizza places that aren't so good. I don't care so much for the pizza. It isn't bad, just not how I like it.

wow had the Pizza here tonight and boy was it delicious!. We had the ATW which is Around The World (or Pizza Supreme). A supreme blend of HIDEAWAY Red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, diced green bell peppers, diced red onions, black olives and fresh sliced mushrooms. We also had the Olympian, which is HIDEAWAY red sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, black and green olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, topped with feta cheese and Parmesan-herb shake. and of course their peperoni. It was all delicious! We also ordered two pound of wings and they too were delicious!

Hideaway gets five stars from me because the staff is always friendly, the lunch prices are good, and they actually produce a unique tasting pizza! While I could do without the hippie decor, it does add a unique flair to the customer experience. My office team frequents Hideaway Pizza
(5)
Rebekah B.
The pizza is delicious. It's just the right amount of greasy. Not too much, but not too little either. Nice and cheesy. The hand tossed crust is nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Amazing pizza. Salads are good too. The Parmesan Peppercorn dressing is great for dipping the crust. Definitely skip the garlic knots. They're lacking.

I like the variety of choices at Hideaway, it's good, just not my favorite. The have a good chicken, pesto, artichoke type of pizza that I really enjoy though. They have a nice selection of other menu items besides pizza as well. I just feel that Hideaway is a bit overrated, although I haven't been to the original location. This location and NW Expressway are the ones I have been to. Maybe I ought to give the other locations a try?

Boudu B.
This place is great, doesn't mean I should be eating 3/4th of a pizza on the regular but here is why they are great. 1. The service, is awesome. Serving food takes timing. Our server had the best timing and always seemed happy to be there. 2. They don't push you, we had a couple of empty beers on the table and it was never, more beer! It was can I get you anything at right now. I liked that. 3. Everything tastes good. I mean what more can you ask for at a pizza place? The notation of "best pizza" in Oklahoma rests here at Hideaway. Because they know pizza is more than dough and sauce.

This is one of the nicer Hideaways I have been to. It just opened in August of 11'. I think this is more than likely the reason why it is still clean, and since its in downtown OCK, its not swamped with little kids during the week. The pizza is what you would expect from any other location: good, not great. But I think its convenience makes up for a lot of what the pizza lacks. It right off the highway, never crowded and clean. Don't expect gourmet Italian pizza, but it is better than pizza hut. This actually is a reasonable place to take a cheap date after going out in bricktown, as they are open pretty late. Give it a try!

Randi P.
Glad I finally tried this place! I placed a TO-GO order for a LRG Tulsa Hurracaine added grilled onions and manderain oranges. The pizza was off the hook! Funny thing is that when I returned to my apartment and while I was waiting for the elevator everyone who saw the Hideway box kept making comments about the place. Can't wait to try a new type of pizza.
(4)
Cynthia L.
Fun place to dine and cool decor. Off-street parking only, which can be tricky at times to find a spot. Awesome tasting thick and hand toss pizza crust to choose from with a variety of ingredients and cheeses. Service is friendly and pricing is reasonable. If you are craving an ice cold brew, make sure you try it in the schooner glass!

Hideaway provides a consistently high quality product and a creative menu. Full bar here at the downtown location. Perfect place for very casual business lunch.

Love Hideaway's pizza, it's always fresh, hot and delicious. The cheese sticks and salads are good too (I haven't ventured any further into the menu than that). I like the full bar service at this location, and they do make some tasty drinks. Get the lemon pie for after your meal.....a perfect, light finish.

Marguerita pizza was ok. Italian and Dagwood sandwiches were ok, too. Good service. Clean establishment. While the taste of the items were ok, they may be good for this area. We come from over 1900 miles away so it could be just how food is done here. Plenty of fresh basil on the pizza. We would definitely go back.

Amazing place to get delicious thick crust pizza. MY FAVORITE!! Every time i'm craving a pizza i venture out to this place. They will make anything you want, if they have the ingredients. They have all sorts of different cheeses. My favorite is going in a requesting them to make something completely random. It usually turns out pretty amazing. The prices aren't half bad, and the service is always great. Everything always fresh!

Alyx P.
Hideaway is a great place to get specialty pizza. If plain cheese, pepperoni or sausage is your bag, this joint is a tad on the expensive side. But if you crave pears, an exotic array of cheeses, or weird combos of gourmet everythings atop one of the best crusts around, you'll find no place more creative. I absolutely love their cheese sticks, to the point that sometimes it's my only order. Plenty of cheese, a tight crisp breading, and their amazing marinara make it a portable pizza you can justify eating all by yourself.

Debbie S.
Wow, went to this place over the weekend and was so glad my friend suggested it. It was absolutely delicious!! Salad was really fresh also. I had the Hawaiian and it was to die for! Highly recommend. Cute atmosphere (giant kites hanging everywhere) and nice young friendly servers!

Shaun A.
Yay for this downtown location!!! Their lunch specials are awesome. Pizza for $8 or pasta and bread for $6. Add a salad for $2. This location can also accommodate large groups. The only con of this location is the parking... if you are lucky you'll find a spot on the street nearby. This is some of the best traditional American pizza you will find. The food is always tremendous and the experience is always unique. I've been to all the locations in OKC and Stillwater but this is the closest Hideaway to my work. I've found it easy to get a seat for 2 to 4 at any time of the day.

Cheri M.
Only 3stars...but I'm a tough pizza critic. We would definitely go again, tons of pizza combinations that sounded great, and we had great service. I really loved the small side salad (can't remember what it's called) it was all veggies, not drenched in cheddar cheese like most salads. Overall it was very good and I would recommend Hideaway.

I was not crazy impressed with this place. The food is good and I can't complain about the service. But for the price I expected more from this place. We had the signature mushroom and they don't come close to the original. Pizza is good and they have a ton of varieties. I think the signature pizzas are the best made. If you need to fill that hunger for pizza this will fix it.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Loved the pizza, been there twice now. Both times great service, great pizza. Highly recommend for family and friends.

Very Good Gluten-Free pizza. Buy your special lady a White Sangria. That's what I did, and she said it was Awesome.
